Assessment and Technology in the Music Classroom With Aileen Miracle
Saturday March 4th: 9am – 4pm*
Northwest University; Kirkland, WA
Lunch provided for NKE members!
Using singing games, manipulatives, and musical activities, attendees will explore various ways to nurture students’ musical growth through assessment. This workshop will include formative and summative assessment strategies, with ideas for integrating technology to create and implement those assessments. Centers in the music classroom will also be explored, showing how both assessment and technology can be integrated into this lesson model. Additionally, teachers will learn about how to save time with technology, and will walk away from the workshop with ideas that will work–whether their classrooms have access to one iPhone or 25 iPads!
