Using singing games, manipulatives, and musical activities, attendees will explore various ways to nurture students’ musical growth through assessment. Additionally, teachers will learn about how to save time with technology, and will walk away from the workshop with ideas that will work–whether their classrooms have access to one iPhone or 25 iPads!
Aileen Miracle teaches general music in the Olentangy Local School District in Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Music Education from Central Michigan University in 1999, and her Master of Music in Music Education with a Kodály emphasis from Capital University in 2003.  Aileen serves as Past President of the Midwest Kodály Music Educators of America, serves on the Technology Task Force for the Organization of American Kodály Educators, and was the National Program Chair for the 2015 OAKE conference.
