NWKE Equity Book Study:
Join us for a Book Study kick-off during the lunch break at the workshop on October 5 in Spokane! NWKE is hosting a book study group to read and discuss Glenn Singleton’s “Courageous Conversations” book about addressing racial inequity in schools with bravery, passion, self-reflection, and knowledge. We’ll meet during the second half of the lunch hour and we welcome participants to eat their lunch during the presentation. During our time together on Saturday, we’ll outline our mission, logistics of the book study, and a little about the book itself. We look forward to learning and growing with you in this book study. Hope you can make it! If you’re not able to attend either workshop, but you want to participate, contact us at email@example.com.
